Sterilime raises the pH and temperature of sludge to levels which destroy pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and parasites. The use of lime produces a stable biosolid which can be used as a fertiliser, making it a low cost, easy to use, sustainable treatment for sludge.

Sterilime Granular has been developed so that it can be used on its own or in conjunction with cement to stabalise harbour dredgings. Due to its granular nature, Sterilime Granular provides a low dust solution to the problem of drying/stabalising harbour dredgings so that the material can be transported safely off-site.
